Dr. Dwight Lundell, what causes heart disease

For many years I’ve avoided any processed foods… No GMO’s, very little meat of any kind, very little milk or eggs. I feel good… Well, I feel a lot better than I did.

Since my Mom had a stroke and since I’ve began looking into the causes of heart disease I’ve found a lot of conflicting opinions and many studies that have, it seems, shown just about everything you can think of… I’ve found one or two doctors who have done there own hands on, person to person, tests with food.

Here is another doctor, a heart surgeon, who has something to add to the conversation. I wanted to save the article because there is something about inflamation and tearing of the blood vessels in it

Dr. Dwight Lundell,
I have peered inside thousands upon thousands of arteries. A diseased artery looks as if someone took a brush and scrubbed repeatedly against its wall. Several times a day, every day, the foods we eat create small injuries compounding into more injuries, causing the body to respond continuously and appropriately with inflammation.

While we savor the tantalizing taste of a sweet roll, our bodies respond alarmingly as if a foreign invader arrived declaring war. Foods loaded with sugars and simple carbohydrates, or processed with omega-6 oils for long shelf life have been the mainstay of the American diet for six decades. These foods have been slowly poisoning everyone.
