Drop the act

What works works… I aways wondered at the amount of things people held on to that were not working…

I’ve seen that its hard for people to see things when they’re too close to them… We can have ideas about things that don’t appear to be ideas… They don’t feel like something apart from us, they may not feel like they’re there at all… But, from out here, there obvious

We can tell what works by how the world reacts to it… If you want to change the tire on your car you can grab all the wine glasses you have and head out the door to the driveway… It shouldn’t take long to see that this tool, while great for sparkly gatherings, sucks for changing tires…

Who would keep trying to make this work?

What I see a lot of is people attempting to communicate their experience, or knowledge of something, to others… but the reaction of the world says… this isn’t working so well. For this specific observation on the “Job” of communicating the “wrong tool” being used is the words, thoughts and ideas of others…

People do their best when they are being themselves… we are the best tool for the job of communicating with others… No matter what we want to communicate… There is a word that comes into play now… Attraction

Have you ever wanted to see more of, to join with, to try something, to listen further, in anything you found unattractive? Ever wanted to keep listening to someone who you didn’t like… I want to find people that think for themselves… that’s a very rare thing… It may actually be nonexistent

But there are those who try not to copy others, who try and be themselves, who don’t constantly use the words of others – others they want to be like

If we want to work… if we want to work best… we might try not doing anything for a year or so… just take a year off and see what happens… Something will happen, its the nature of nature… and what happens will be closer to what we are… this will be way more attractive than that act we drop…
