The fear of being wrong

Where I come from we call it a need to be right, which is a psychological security mechanism. When one lands on some “Way it is” a religious story for example… to introduce an opposing view threatens the persons security…

The need to be right here is identical to the fear of being wrong… it’s always a threat to the emotional security structures we’ve built. These can also get built without the persons acknowledgement through the many indoctrination protocols.

I had to take a long look at all that indoctrination business in order to understand the stuff that goes on in my head and of course emotionally
