The root of conflict

Rather than wasting such a tremendous amount of psychosocial energies in order to futilely give answers to the macro questions such as “Who am I?” “Where do I come from?”, “Where am I going?” and all of these sources of psychosocial-existential nervousness… man should inquire privately, individually, intimately and then collectively, together, (without clinging to this or that belief system)… in the very reason why man is so unfamiliar with peace… now days, and all along the thousands of years through which human beings went…

Why?

Why there is this immense antagonism with peace… sociologically, psychologically, historically…?

And why, considering that each one of us fundamentally want peace… peace is always mistaken with psychological security…

Can peace be gained through the conquest of psychological security? The answer, the historical and individual answer is no: psychological security brings about the fear to lose it (in the case the individual may believes that he or she has found it)… or the fear of losing the path toward it…

Technical, logical and physical security, such as a shelter, food, protection against natural phenomena and so on is to be distinguished from psychological security.. which is the source of pain, as well it represents the so frequent deterioration of physical security (wars, conflicts, destructions, limitations, repression and so on)…

It’s so clear how the constant need to psychologically purchase psychological security always results in a block… preventing psychological evolution…

Evolution implies biological time… not just the physical one, but also the psychological one.

Now, considering that since the beginning of his presence in the planet man has grown by going through constant troubles, anxieties and fears and that so it has been for thousands of years… then even from a scientific perspective one can assume that our brain shaped itself into a particular structure…

Not a physical structure of course, but rather a psychological construct which makes some parts of brain and mind operative and some parts silent..

It should be a matter of collective discussion this comprehension of the reasons why man persists in the preservation of this mental (therefore social) castration…

One should analyze how the human beings never and ever gave up of the search for psychological security… not even just for a little while along the history…

It’s so clear that the history of man is the history of the inventions of defence mechanisms isn’t it so?

Isn’t hope basically a psychosocial stratagem to feel secure into a defence mechanism? Isn’t nationalism, religiosity, ideal, belief, power, identity, patriotism, the sect, the cult and so on all inventions aimed to feel defended?

Isn’t fundamentally the whole spiritual search merely an attempt to be and feel defended against the fear to be nothing?

Does the whole construct of faith, whether religious or spiritual or identitarian or idealistic and tribalistic brings about the sense of protectiveness and even the comfortable pillow and bed of speciality? It does…

Now, considering that we all are looking for peace… let’s think about what follows:

What’s the relationship between profound and intelligent psychological peace… and the condition to everlastingly live into an identitarian defence mechanism?

An attentive mind can detect so clearly how there cannot relationship at all…

Just conflict…
