Wireless firmware to install debian 7.7

If you’re installing Debian 7.7, wheezy, or any debian, linux, Gnu operating system you’ll likely run into a snag with your internet connection.

I’ve always plugged into a wired connection but this last time the installer ask me to use the disk with the firmware on it. Of course I didn’t have one but I figured I could find the files, download them and put it on a thumb drive…

I found what I needed here: cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/firmware/wheezy/current/ and downloaded the files, moved them (the folder was named firmware) to a thumb drive and plugged it in

The installer found the files and I finished installing… pretty simple
